SUMMARY:BEGINNING MEDITATION INSTRUCTION
DESCRIPTION:The Teachers’ Council will offer beginning meditation instruc
 tions prior to the Sunday Sitting on a periodic basis\, starting on Sunday
 \, March 17\, 2024. The instruction will include mindfulness\, basic focus
  on the breath meditation\, and the importance of being as compassionate a
 nd patient with ourselves in the practice as we can. We will begin at 9:15
  am and conclude about 9:45. Instruction will be geared mainly toward begi
 nning meditators and newcomers to Still Mountain\, but anyone in the sangh
 a is welcome to attend\, including experienced meditators who would like a
  refresher in the basics of practice. We will meet in person\, at Turner C
 enter. No registration is needed\; just come to the Turner Center lobby a 
 few minutes before 9:15. Teachers there will show you where we will be mee
 ting.
