President and Treasurer report
Yair
Dennis gave treasurer information to Kenneth.
Currently balance on all 4 accounts. Total amount lower than last month.
No donations nor deposits for 3 weeks.
Action: Judi will give the in-house donations from past two weeks to Yair for deposit.
Judi will check with Elizabeth regarding minutes from the Community
Meeting on May 31st, discussing the 8 points from the May 3rd meeting that
relate to the Sangha,
Teacher Report

- The Teacher Council will continue to review the idea list generated from the May 3rd meeting.
- Curt, Bilha and Ken will attend a Great Lakes Dharma conference August 21 – August 23.
- The teachers will be offering a half day retreat in the Fall. Details to be worked out.

Discussion occurred regarding returning to having the Zoom line available on the website since Zoom access to the SM website that included vetting new comers requesting access has been problematic.
Action: Phyllis will talk to Kenneth G to remove vetting barriers to be as before disruptive action on Zoom, to make it easier to join Still Mountain.
Discuss with Kenneth how to archive the steps Phyllis has developed regarding
vetting if the problem of disruption occurs again.
If disruption occurs, the host will announce that members should leave meeting
and come back in 10 minutes (unless there is less than 10 minutes remaining)
and then host ends the meeting.
Discussion regarding the 3 points from the May 3rd meeting that was determined to
relate to the Board.
- What is out reach and acceptance for new people?
Action: Gayle and Judi will work on plan for out reach to new people who attended in person as well as those who have completed the forms for Still Mountain
emails and also others in the sangha where connecting would be
appropriate.
Announcement next Sunday to request other volunteers who might also be
interested in joining with Gayle and Judi in out reach. - Pan people at Harmony Studio for the people on Zoom.
Action: Yair will try to do this and then past information on the procedure to the others responsible for Zoom. And ask those present to say their names. - Zoom group continue with another host after 11:30 to socialize.
Action: Before adjourn, Zoom host will ask if two or more people want to stay on Zoom to socialize, and one can be made cohost.
From the May list, it was determined that numbers 17 and 18 under Teacher Council
could be added to the actions Gayle and Judi will be implementing regarding new people.
- New people not showing up. Are other groups {ie Ann Arbor Insight Meditation} having similar problems and less interest generally?
- New people coming and going. People to hear dharma. Look at question of why not returning.
Discussion was held on possible need for outside facilitator. It was decided not
necessary at this stage of the “Health of Sangha” process. However, it is important to be aware of and consider the differences that were brought up during the May 3rd sangha discussion.
Discussion of strategies for Financial Management to continue at the next meeting.
One issue was the concern that a member have more control over what can contribute to regarding Still Mountain. Such as being able to choose operational expenses and/or
Immigration Center.
Action: Next Board Meeting will be dedicated to discussion of Donation Policies.
And preparation for open discussion in Community Meeting about sangha
donations.
Ken will give a review of Global Buddhist Relief after a sitting.
